    A pinch pot is a small hand-built clay vessel formed by pinching and shaping a ball of clay between the fingers and thumb. Pinch pots are simple, and ideal for teaching basic hand building techniques, while creating small functional or decorative items like bowls, cups and pots.

    Coil building technique that creates form by stacking and joining long, rope-like coils of clay. It’s one of the most ancient methods of pottery, valued for its versatility and the organic, textured surfaces it produces.

    22 March 11am Slab Building

    Slab building uses flat pieces of clay that are cut, shaped and joined to create forms. It emphasises planar surfaces and straight edges but can produce soft, curved and irregular shapes depending on how the slabs are manipulated.
